COVID-19 Office Update

Corona Virus and chiropractic

Your health is always our top priority. In the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak, we want to share new and existing office policies.

First, we are following the CDC guidelines, as well as state and federal public health guidelines, meaning that we will remain open with our normal business hours at this time. With that said, our team is taking extra precautions to sanitize our office and make sure it is a safe place for you and your family.

Second, we ask that patients who have recently travelled out of the country or had contact with someone who has been out of the country and are exhibiting symptoms of fever, cough, or shortness of breath seek medical attention before visiting our office.

Third, if you are more comfortable waiting in your vehicle until your appointment, we are going to make accommodations to allow this. Please call our office when you arrive, and we will have a staff member check you in. When it is your turn to see a doctor, a staff member or doctor will either walk outside or call you to let you know when you can come into the office.

Fourth, we will continue to follow our normal sanitization procedures as always. This means that we will be disinfecting tables, sanitizing/washing hands between every patient, disinfecting treatment and reception areas and cleaning high touch areas such as door knobs, chair arms, and counters.

Lastly, we will temporarily be removing magazines, books and children’s toys from our office.

Chiropractic care has been deemed an essential health care provider. This is because chiropractic is important to your overall health, and we are taking every precaution to keep you safe. Chiropractic care can have profound impacts on the immune system, so now is a great time to stay adjusted and ensure your body is functioning and adapting to its greatest ability. We want to keep our doors open and be available to our patients, even in this time of crisis, so please be patient with us as we do our best to navigate this unprecedented situation.

Yours in Health,

Dr. Lauren Molinaro Shelton and Dr. Weston Shelton
